Ingrients & Directions
1/2 c Soft shortening
3/4 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 tb Milk or cream
1 ts Vanilla or lemon extract
1 1/4 c Flour
1/4 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
Mix together shortening, sugar, and egg. Stir in milk and extract. Sift
together and stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
Chill dough. Roll thin (1/16″). Cut out cookies with cookie cutters. Place
on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Frost and decorate.
